Why do you need a Jtag?

I f you want to install a new bin without serial cable.

If the receiver is no longer able to accept a new bin.

If your receiver is experiencing  the nagging green light syndrome (GLS).

If your receiver will simply not power on due to a corrupt  flash.

If you want to be prepared in the event that your flash gets corrupt in the future.

Some of the symptoms above could have been caused by an interruption to your receiver while flashing a new bin, turning off the receiver while in the middle of a new bin update,  installing a bad/wrong bin, or your bin just got corrupt due to static interferences.

The good news is that your  receiver does not have to become a paper weight. It can most likely be repaired by simply using this jtag. The repair can be done by attaching the db25 end of the jtag to your computer and the other end to your receiver.  Start up your program and Flash (load) in a new working bin.  Turn your receiver on and your good to go.
